National Payments

The National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) is a not-for-profit organization established in 2008 by major banks in India, with support from the Reserve Bank of India and the Indian Banks' Association. Its mission is to create a robust and inclusive retail payment infrastructure that enables seamless digital payments for all citizens, regardless of their location or income. NPCI offers a range of innovative payment products and services, including the RuPay Card, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), Immediate Payment Service (IMPS), and Bharat BillPay. These solutions have transformed digital payments in India, facilitating billions of transactions each month.
