One of Us is a visual effects studio with locations in London and Paris, founded in 2004 by Tom Debenham, Dominic Parker, and Rachael Penfold. The studio is recognized for its design-led concept work and serves as a creative partner for directors in the film and television industry. The company specializes in visual effects services for feature films, episodic content, commercials, and immersive art installations. Their expertise includes bespoke creature design and immersive world-building, collaborating with clients throughout all production stages, from concept development to post-production. One of Us employs around 342 people and supports over 400 artists, fostering a creative environment while managing large-scale projects. In July 2024, Basilic Fly Studio acquired a majority stake in One of Us, enhancing its capabilities and resources.
