Evidence Action

Evidence Action is a global nonprofit organization focused on reducing poverty and improving health outcomes in low-income communities. It was founded as an incubator for Innovations for Poverty Action and aims to implement evidence-based, cost-effective interventions on a large scale. The organization emphasizes transparency, cost-effectiveness, and measurable results, partnering with governments to ensure sustainability and maximize impact. Evidence Action operates four core programs: Safe Water Now, Deworm the World, Equal Vitamin Access, and Syphilis-Free Start. These programs provide essential health and nutrition interventions, such as access to safe water, deworming treatments for children, iron supplementation to combat anemia, and syphilis screening for pregnant women. The organization also runs an Accelerator program to identify and develop scalable health interventions. Through its data-driven approach, Evidence Action reaches hundreds of millions of beneficiaries, continually optimizing its programs for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
