Auto-Apply Tools Where Credits Never Expire (2026 Pricing Compared)

Which auto-apply tools let credits roll over? JobGPT credits never expire. See 2026 pricing and cost per application for LazyApply, Sonara, Simplify, AIApply.

Last updated September 2026

Short answer

JobGPT is the auto-apply tool we found where credits never expire: unused credits stay in your account and add to any pack you buy later, starting at $34.99 for 100 applications (about $0.35 each). AIApply rolls unused credits over only while your subscription stays active.

Most other tools charge for a period of time. LazyApply is billed yearly with daily caps, Simplify, LoopCV, Jobright and Sonara are recurring subscriptions, and Teal does not auto-apply at all.

How JobGPT does it

JobGPT sells applications as credits. Its pricing page lists each plan in auto-applies: Casual Hunter gives 100, Active Hunter 200 and Apex Predator 400. One credit covers one application, sent with a resume tailored to that job and a personalized cover letter.

Credits have lifetime validity. If you buy a new pack before using up the old one, the remaining credits simply add up. There is also a pay-as-you-go option for people who do not want a subscription at all: one-time credit purchases at $0.40 per credit for 100-299 credits, $0.35 for 300-749 and $0.25 for 750 or more.

Worked example: cost per application

  • Casual Hunter: $34.99 ÷ 100 credits = $0.35 per application
  • Active Hunter: $64.99 ÷ 200 credits = about $0.32 per application
  • Apex Predator: $95.99 ÷ 400 credits = about $0.24 per application

Now say you buy Casual Hunter, use 60 credits, and pause your search because interviews are lined up. The other 40 credits stay in your account. If the offer falls through two months later, you pick up where you left off without paying again for applications you already bought.

The price also covers more than the application. JobGPT applies beyond Easy Apply on company career pages, sends recruiter outreach and referral requests from your own Gmail, and tracks everything on a Kanban-style board. It supports the US, Canada, UK and 150+ other countries, and you can start with 5 free applies.

Real interviews, not claims

Every auto-apply tool claims it gets interviews. JobGPT is the only one on this list that publishes the interview emails. These are invitations that landed in users’ own inboxes after a JobGPT application and recruiter outreach, with names redacted:

ScaleAI interview invitation email for a Software Engineer role, received after a JobGPT application
ScaleAI, Software Engineer, interview 8 days after applying
Elastic interview invitation email for a Software Engineer role, received after a JobGPT application
Elastic, Software Engineer
MongoDB interview invitation email for a Software Engineer role, received after a JobGPT application
MongoDB, Software Engineer

We only see replies that arrive in the connected inbox. Interviews that come by phone or inside an ATS portal do not show up, so this is the floor, not the ceiling. The full feed has 35 at the time of writing, including HubSpot, MongoDB, Elastic, Box, Webflow and Klaviyo.

For opinions we do not control, see the Trustpilot reviews: one reviewer reported 41 applications and 5 interviews inside a week; another reported about 12 recruiter calls from 100 applications in a day. Their numbers, not ours.

Pay for applications, keep what you don’t use

Why it matters

Job searches rarely run in a straight line. You apply hard for three weeks, stop while you interview, then restart if the offer does not come through. A subscription charges you for the weeks you are paused, and AIApply’s own help center notes that unused credits are gone once a cancelled plan lapses and are not restored when you come back.

Annual and lifetime-style pricing has the opposite problem. It looks cheap per month, but only if you keep using it. If you land a job in four weeks, you have paid for eleven months you will not need, and a daily cap means you could not have front-loaded those applications anyway.

Credits that never expire match how people actually search. You pay for a number of applications, use them when you need them, and keep the rest for next time.

About $0.35 per tailored application

Frequently Asked Questions

Do JobGPT credits expire?

No. JobGPT credits have lifetime validity, and if you buy another pack before running out, the remaining credits add to the new balance. This applies to monthly plans and pay-as-you-go credits.

Is LazyApply lifetime pricing worth it?

As of September 2026, LazyApply’s pricing page lists its plans per year ($99, $149 and $999), and its FAQ says you are billed annually, so older “lifetime” descriptions may be out of date. Whether it is worth it depends on how long you search. At the Basic cap of 15 applications a day, one month of use works out to about $0.22 per application, but you pay the full year up front. Its refund policy covers requests within 30 days if you have applied to fewer than 100 jobs.

How much does Sonara cost per month?

Sonara does not publish prices on its public website; they are shown during signup. Its terms describe auto-renewing subscriptions and trials. Some third-party reviews in 2026 report a low-cost trial that renews at around $23.95 every four weeks, but we could not confirm that on Sonara’s own site, so check at checkout.

What is the cheapest auto-apply tool per application?

On paper, tools with high daily caps or large yearly plans can drop to a few cents per application, but only if you use every slot. Among tools that publish a price per application, JobGPT runs $0.24 to $0.35 on its plans and $0.25 to $0.40 on pay-as-you-go, while AIApply runs about $0.25 to $0.49. JobGPT’s price also includes tailoring and recruiter outreach, which AIApply sells as add-ons or does not document.

Can I pause an auto-apply subscription without losing credits?

With JobGPT, yes: credits stay in your account after you stop. With AIApply, credits roll over only while the subscription is active. Most other tools charge by time period rather than by application, so a pause simply means paying for time you do not use.
