Looking for Simplify alternatives? Simplify Jobs is best known for Simplify Copilot, a free browser extension that autofills applications and tracks them, so you still find each job and press submit yourself. Its newer Autopilot agent can submit for you, but it is in beta for a subset of Simplify+ members, capped at 20 applications a week, and Simplify+ costs $39.99 a month. If you want more of the applying handled for you, or simply a different price model, here are the options worth comparing.
Quick take: JobGPT is the best Simplify alternative for people who want applications submitted for them. It applies on company career pages, tailors your resume for each job, sends recruiter and referral emails from your own Gmail, and its credits never expire. If you only want free autofill, Simplify Copilot is still hard to beat, and Teal is the best free pick for resume building and tracking.

How we compared these: We reviewed each tool’s product pages, help documentation, pricing pages and public user reviews, and scored them on how much of the applying is automated, application quality, outreach features, coverage and pricing. The ranking reflects fit for someone moving on from Simplify who wants more done for them. Where a vendor did not publish a price we could verify in September 2026, we say “see vendor site” instead of guessing.
What Simplify Does Well
Simplify earns its popularity. Before looking at alternatives, it is worth being clear about what it gets right.
- Free autofill that works widely. Simplify Copilot is a free extension that, per Simplify, autofills applications on 100,000+ company career sites in one click.
- A built-in tracker. Every application you autofill is saved to your Simplify tracker automatically.
- Job matching. You can browse and filter roles on Simplify and launch applications from there.
- Careful Autopilot design. If Autopilot is unsure of an answer, it fails the application instead of guessing, and you are not charged a credit.
If you apply to a manageable number of roles and like reviewing each form yourself, the free version may be all you need.
Where Simplify Falls Short
The limits show up once you want the tool to do more than fill forms. Here is what Simplify’s own help center says as of September 2026:
- Copilot is autofill. You still find each job, open the application and submit it yourself.
- Autopilot is in beta and available only to a subset of Simplify+ members.
- 20 Autopilot credits a week, with no rollover. Simplify says there is currently no way to buy more.
- You pick every job. Autopilot only applies to jobs you choose, and only on application systems it supports.
- No review step. Once you choose Autopilot on a job, it submits without showing you the application first.
- Simplify+ pricing is $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month, or $89.99 a quarter.
Some users have also reported frustration with Simplify’s refund policy and with support responsiveness. We covered this in more depth in our Simplify review.
Is Simplify Autopilot worth it?
It depends on your pace. For someone applying to a handful of hand-picked roles a week, Autopilot saves real time, and the fail-safe behavior is a good sign. For a laid-off engineer or an H1B holder who needs 50 or more quality applications a week, a 20-credit weekly cap on a beta feature you may not have access to is a hard ceiling.
1. JobGPT
Best for: people who want applications submitted for them, with outreach built in.
JobGPT finds matching roles and applies on company career pages for you, around the clock. Each application gets a resume tailored to that job and a personalized cover letter. It also emails recruiters and asks for referrals from your own Gmail account, so your name reaches a person as well as an ATS.
- Pros: fully automated applying with an optional hand-pick mode, per-job resume tailoring, recruiter and referral outreach, credits that never expire, coverage in the US, Canada, UK and 150+ countries.
- Cons: beyond the 5 free applies it is paid, while Simplify’s core autofill costs nothing. You also give up some per-form control compared with filling each application yourself.
Price: 5 free applies, then plans from $34.99/month. See how it compares with another popular tool in JobGPT vs Jobright.
Real interviews, not claims
Every auto-apply tool claims it gets interviews. JobGPT is the only one on this list that publishes the interview emails. These are invitations that landed in users’ own inboxes after a JobGPT application and recruiter outreach, with names redacted:

We only see replies that arrive in the connected inbox. Interviews that come by phone or inside an ATS portal do not show up, so this is the floor, not the ceiling. The full feed has 35 at the time of writing, including HubSpot, MongoDB, Elastic, Box, Webflow and Klaviyo.
For opinions we do not control, see the Trustpilot reviews: one reviewer reported 41 applications and 5 interviews inside a week; another reported about 12 recruiter calls from 100 applications in a day. Their numbers, not ours.
🚀 Ready to stop filling forms one by one?
JobGPT applies on company career pages for you, tailors your resume for each role, and reaches recruiters from your Gmail. Start with 5 free applications.
2. LazyApply
Best for: applicants who care most about volume on major job boards.
LazyApply runs as a Chrome extension that applies to jobs in bulk on boards such as LinkedIn and Indeed. Compared with Simplify, you set filters and let it run instead of opening each form. Plans are billed yearly and set a daily application cap.
- Pros: high daily volume on upper plans, multiple resume profiles, a 30-day money-back guarantee listed on its pricing page.
- Cons: some users have reported mismatched applications, form errors and slow support. No recruiter or referral outreach.
Price: Basic is $99/year for 15 applications a day, Premium is $149/year for 150 a day, and Ultimate is $999/year. Read our full LazyApply review.
3. Sonara
Best for: US job seekers who want a daily list of matches that gets applied to for them.
Sonara is a web platform that matches you with roles each day and submits applications from its dashboard. That makes it more hands-off than Simplify Copilot. Several 2026 reviews note that the original company shut down in early 2024 and the brand has since been relaunched under new ownership, so older reviews may describe a different product.
- Pros: simple setup, daily curated matches, a status dashboard for every application.
- Cons: some users have reported failed submissions and matches outside their field. Mostly US-focused, with no recruiter or referral outreach.
Price: see the vendor site. Sonara was live when we checked in September 2026 but publishes no price list; pricing is shown in the app. More detail in our Sonara review.
4. LoopCV
Best for: a free way to try automated applying, especially in Europe.
LoopCV runs recurring searches it calls “loops” that scan 30+ job boards daily and auto-apply to matches. Unlike Simplify’s free tier, its free plan includes a limited number of automated applications, so you can test real automation without paying. It can also email recruiters and lets you A/B test resume versions.
- Pros: free plan with no card required, low paid entry price, resume A/B testing, well-reviewed support.
- Cons: some users have reported a large gap between jobs matched and applications actually sent. It tends to perform best in EU markets.
Price: free plan; paid plans from €9.99/month. See our LoopCV review.
5. Jobright
Best for: US job seekers who like Simplify’s model but want better matching.
Jobright is the closest in spirit to Simplify. It offers one-click autofill across major ATS platforms, AI job matching, quick resume tailoring and an AI career assistant called Orion. Its insider connections feature points you to people at a company who could refer you, which Simplify’s free tier does not focus on.
- Pros: strong job matching, referral connections, free tier to start.
- Cons: US-focused, and you still submit each application yourself, so it does not solve the time problem that pushes many people away from Simplify.
Price: free tier; paid plan pricing, see vendor site. We compared more options in Best Jobright Alternatives.
6. Teal
Best for: a free resume builder and job tracker.
Teal is a good fit if what you liked about Simplify was the organization. Its resume builder, keyword matching against job descriptions, job tracker and Chrome extension for saving roles are useful even on the free plan. Teal does not auto-apply, so think of it as a replacement for Simplify’s tracker and resume tools rather than for Autopilot.
- Pros: polished resume editor, clear tracker, generous free plan.
- Cons: no automated applying or outreach. Some reviewers point out that its weekly billing option costs more over a month than the monthly plan.
Price: free plan; Teal+ $13/week, $29/30 days or $79/90 days. Read our full Teal review.
7. AIApply
Best for: people who want AI writing tools first and some automation on top.
AIApply bundles a resume builder, cover letter writer and interview practice into a subscription. Its Auto-Apply feature is sold separately as credit packs, with pack sizes such as 100 or 250 applications. That split makes it flexible, and it also means the true monthly cost depends on how many applications you buy.
- Pros: strong writing tools, pay for automation only when you need it, limited free tier to explore.
- Cons: two separate costs to track, full pricing only visible inside the dashboard, no automated referral outreach.
Price: limited free tier; Auto Apply from $49/mo for 100 applications. Read our full AIApply review.
Which Simplify Alternative Is Right for You?
You are on an H1B clock or were just laid off
Time is the constraint, so pick a tool that submits for you and also gets you in front of people. JobGPT applies every day at the volume your plan allows, and its recruiter and referral emails go out from your own Gmail.
You want a free tool
Keep Simplify Copilot for autofill and add Teal for resume work. If you want to try automation at no cost, LoopCV’s free plan includes a small number of automated applications, and JobGPT gives you 5 free applies.
You want it fully hands-off
Look at tools that choose and submit jobs for you: JobGPT, Sonara or LoopCV. Of these, JobGPT is the one that also tailors your resume per job and handles outreach.
You are on a tight budget
LoopCV starts at €9.99 a month and LazyApply’s Basic plan is $99 a year. Credits you buy on JobGPT never expire, which helps if your search runs longer than planned.
⏱️ Time-Sensitive Job Search?
If you are on an H1B visa with a deadline or recently laid off, 20 applications a week may not be enough. JobGPT keeps applying while you prepare for interviews, and it reaches recruiters directly so your applications do not sit unread.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Simplify Jobs free?
Yes, the core product is free. Simplify Copilot, the autofill extension and tracker, costs nothing. Simplify+ adds AI resume tailoring, cover letters, AI email help and access to the Autopilot beta for some members, at $19.99 a week, $39.99 a month or $89.99 a quarter.
Is Simplify Autopilot worth it?
For light, hand-picked applying it can be. Autopilot submits applications for jobs you choose, tailors your resume and cover letter, and does not charge a credit when it fails. The limits are that it is a beta for a subset of Simplify+ members, it allows 20 credits a week with no rollover, and extra credits cannot be bought yet.
What is the best Simplify alternative?
For most people who want more automation, JobGPT is the best Simplify alternative in 2026. It applies on company career pages for you, tailors each resume, sends recruiter and referral emails from your Gmail, and covers the US, Canada, UK and 150+ countries. For a free resume and tracking setup, Teal is the best choice.
Which tool actually applies for you instead of just autofilling?
JobGPT, LazyApply, Sonara and LoopCV all submit applications for you. AIApply does too through separately sold credits. Simplify Copilot, Jobright and Teal leave the final submit to you, and Simplify’s Autopilot submits only for selected Simplify+ members within a weekly cap.
Can I use Simplify and JobGPT together?
Yes. You can keep Simplify Copilot for the occasional role you want to fill in by hand and let JobGPT handle ongoing applications and outreach. Just avoid applying to the same job twice from both tools.
🚀 Try the Simplify alternative that applies for you
5 free applications, no credit card required. Credits you buy later never expire.
