Vast

Vast is a space technology company founded in 2021 and based in Long Beach, California. The company is dedicated to developing next-generation space stations that will support long-term human habitation in space. Its flagship project, Haven-1, is a single-module space station set to launch in 2025 aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket. Haven-1 will feature a large central window for stunning views of Earth and an integrated fitness center. Following this, Haven-2 is planned as a micro-gravity laboratory to succeed the International Space Station. Vast has strategically brought manufacturing in-house and acquired Launcher in 2023, enhancing its capabilities for future space deployments. The company has partnered with SpaceX for the launch of its space stations and has agreements with The Exploration Company for cargo services related to Haven-2. Vast aims to sell seats on its crewed missions, including the Vast-1 mission to Haven-1, with crew training provided by SpaceX.
