Originally a dairy store, Sheetz expanded into convenience retailing and introduced gasoline pumps in 1973, becoming a pioneer of self-serve gas in central Pennsylvania. The company is well-known for its made-to-order food offerings, which include customizable sandwiches, subs, salads, and unique snacks. Sheetz also sells coffee, beverages, and convenience items, and has incorporated electric vehicle charging stations at select locations. With a strong emphasis on innovation, Sheetz has adopted touchscreen ordering systems to enhance customer experience and has actively engaged in community initiatives through its charity, Sheetz for Kidz, supporting children in need and partnering with various organizations.
