Seras UK is the largest biomass fuel supply company in the UK, focusing on sustainable waste wood management and biomass fuel production for power generation. Formerly known as Esken Renewables, the company rebranded after its acquisition by Pioneer Point Partners in December 2023. With over a decade of experience, Seras operates five waste wood storage and processing facilities and manages a fleet of over 100 specialist vehicles. The company collects and delivers commercial waste wood from various suppliers, processes it into high-quality biomass fuel, and supplies this fuel to major biomass power plants. Annually, Seras provides approximately 1.7 million tonnes of sustainable biomass fuel, significantly reducing landfill waste and greenhouse gas emissions. With a commitment to innovation, Seras has invested in modernizing its fleet and expanding production capacity, aiming to diversify its offerings in the sustainable energy sector. Headquartered in Widnes, Cheshire, Seras employs over 250 people and has a strong financial foundation.
