planqc

planqc is a Munich-based startup focused on quantum computing, founded in 2022 by scientists from the Max Planck Institute of Quantum Optics and Ludwig-Maximilians-University Munich. The company is located in Garching near Munich and is part of the Munich Quantum Valley ecosystem. planqc has expanded to a 1,400 m² facility to enhance the development of its atomic qubit technology. The company specializes in digital atom-based quantum computers that utilize individual atoms confined in optical crystals as qubits.
