LUMINAIR is a private charter airline operator based in Germany, focusing on charter brokers and private aviation customers. Founded by a team of former Air Hamburg employees, including CEO Algernon Trotter, the company aims to address a gap in the market following the acquisition of Air Hamburg by Vista Global. LUMINAIR has secured support from three major investors in Hamburg and has assembled a team of 12 employees. The airline's initial fleet includes a Cessna Citation XLS, with plans for expansion as operations commence. LUMINAIR is in the process of obtaining its official Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC) from the German civil aviation authority, Luftfahrt-Bundesamt. The company is dedicated to providing high-quality private jet charters, leveraging the founders' extensive industry experience to offer reliable and appealing options in the German and broader European market.
