Bucknell University

Bucknell University is a private liberal arts university located in Central Pennsylvania, founded in 1846. Originally established as the University at Lewisburg by a group of Baptists, it was renamed in 1886 in honor of benefactor William Bucknell. The university has grown into a nondenominational institution with a strong national reputation, enrolling approximately 3,920 undergraduate students and 49 graduate students from diverse backgrounds.
