Job Description
Product Marketing Manager
Location: Fully Remote in the USA
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will drive the expansion and sales of ExploreLearning products to our prospective and existing customers and report to the Vice President of Marketing. You’ll leverage audience, industry, and opportunity insights to enhance product positioning and market penetration. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, sales, customer success, research, and product teams to develop and support compelling value propositions, sales strategies, and other go-to-market initiatives and help communicate these effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
This role is ideal for a collaborative, detail-oriented professional who excels at balancing strategic development with hands-on execution, crafting targeted messages, and leveraging data to drive impactful marketing. It requires a strategic thinker who can translate and connect product features and research data into meaningful benefits for educators and students. You’ll join a supportive team where your customer-driven insights and initiatives will contribute to our mission to help improve educational outcomes in STEM.
Job Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day is…
Becoming trained on the ExploreLearning product suite, differentiators, customers, and competitors.
Driving product adoption with clear and compelling value propositions, positioning, and growth strategies with respect to decision-maker persona needs, pain points, competitive landscapes, budgets, and purchasing processes.
Collaborating with go-to-market teams to:
Develop and implement strategic initiatives that effectively identify, target, and attract new customers and retain and expand existing customers.
Inform and support omnichannel marketing efforts that focus on and incorporate key product value, positioning, and growth strategies.
Identify initiatives to grow key territories and accounts through expansion, cross-selling, and competitive displacement strategies.
Contribute to product launch strategies and ongoing support for sales and marketing efforts to ensure marketplace success.
Gathering and sharing audience, competitive, and industry trends and insights through research, data analysis, and internal input to help shape product and marketing strategies.
Leveraging dashboards and reports to monitor and communicate the performance of strategic initiatives and their impact on outcomes related to product bookings, revenue, customer acquisition, and retention.
Serving as a key point of contact between marketing, product, customer success, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and cohesive execution by helping internal partners effectively communicate the unique value of our offerings through various training, touchpoints, and enablement tools (messaging frameworks, guides, presentations, playbooks, etc.).
Job Requirements:
We’re looking for someone who brings...
Bachelor’s degree.
5+ years of product marketing experience (K12 edtech and/or STEM instruction preferred but not required).
Experience building compelling go-to-market strategies that convey compelling product features and benefits for multiple buying personas.
A proven track record of building successful relationships and partnerships internally, across all organizational levels, and externally with high-value customers.
The ability to convey complex ideas, including product descriptions and research data, into captivating audience-focused language.
Experience in and passion for collecting and using customer insights and market research to drive strategic product marketing decisions.
An engaging, effective communication style, both verbally and written; experience leading compelling in-person and virtual meetings.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Teams, and familiarity with project management tools.
Experience marketing to decision-makers in the K12 education technology space preferred.
