Join Notion's Data Platform team to build scalable data infrastructure for enterprise customers, focusing on compliance, data quality, and integration.
You will design and implement data integration pipelines, manage metadata, ensure data quality, and support enterprise compliance while optimizing performance for large-scale operations.
- 5+ years of experience building data platforms for enterprise SaaS applications
- Strong programming skills in at least one of Python, Java, Scala or Typescript
- Experience with modern data processing frameworks and distributed systems
- Knowledge of data catalog systems and metadata management
- Understanding of data governance principles as they apply to platform architecture
- Experience with data quality monitoring and management systems
- Familiarity with enterprise compliance requirements relevant to data platforms
- Knowledge of data integration patterns for connecting to enterprise environments
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, Redis, DynamoDB) and data pipeline technologies
- Experience working with enterprise customers in SaaS environments
- Familiarity with data residency requirements across global regions
- Background in implementing data access controls and permission systems
- Knowledge of enterprise collaboration tools and knowledge management systems
- Experience designing systems that support audit compliance needs
- Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure and vector databases
