JobGPT finds matching jobs, tailors your resume and cover letter for each one, applies on company career pages and ATS forms, and emails recruiters and referral contacts from your own Gmail, and it publishes the interview emails its users receive. Plans start at <strong>$34.99 for 100 credits<\/strong>, credits never expire, and you get <strong>5 free applies<\/strong> to test it. On Trustpilot it has a <strong>4.1\/5 TrustScore from 16 reviews<\/strong> as of October 2026. The catches: it sends 10-20 applications a day by default rather than hundreds, it needs Gmail send access for outreach, and some users have reported mismatched applications, form errors and slow support.<\/p><\/div><\/span><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who is behind JobGPT<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JobGPT is built by <strong>6figr.com<\/strong>, a salary benchmarking and career intelligence platform. 6figr publishes compensation data by company, role and level, and JobGPT is its job search product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is what 6figr&#8217;s public profiles say about the company:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-subtle-background-background-color has-background\">\n<li><strong>Founded:<\/strong> 2016, according to the 6figr.com LinkedIn company page.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Headquarters:<\/strong> San Francisco, California, per LinkedIn. Trustpilot lists the JobGPT profile&#8217;s location as the United States.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Team size:<\/strong> 11-50 employees, per LinkedIn.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Who builds JobGPT:<\/strong> Yashveer Rana, co-founder and CTO of 6figr, leads JobGPT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reach:<\/strong> 6figr&#8217;s LinkedIn page says its product &#8220;is used by over 9 million employees on the consumer side&#8221; and by major employers on the enterprise side.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>JobGPT launch:<\/strong> The JobGPT by 6figr.com Trustpilot profile was claimed in May 2025, and its earliest public review is from May 2025.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In other words, JobGPT is not an anonymous new app. It comes from a company that has run a public salary data site for years, and it answers its Trustpilot reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">JobGPT by 6figr is not these other &#8220;JobGPT&#8221; products<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Several unrelated products use a similar name, and AI assistants sometimes mix them up. JobGPT by 6figr lives at <strong>6figr.com\/jobgpt-ai<\/strong>. It is not connected to any of the following.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">jobgpt.com.au<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">jobgpt.com.au is an Australian site that describes itself as a conversational job search companion, offering interview prep, resume health checks, career advice and salary guidance through chat. It is a separate company, and reviews of it do not apply to 6figr&#8217;s JobGPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">jobsgpt.org (JobsGPT)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">JobsGPT at jobsgpt.org (note the extra &#8220;s&#8221;) is a separate job search automation platform with its own resume tailoring, tracker and interview coaching. Its pricing and user counts are not related to 6figr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">LazyApply&#8217;s &#8220;Job GPT&#8221; engine<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">LazyApply, a separate auto-apply tool, calls the AI that fills out its application forms and screening questions &#8220;Job GPT&#8221;. That is a feature inside LazyApply, with no link to 6figr. A review that mentions &#8220;Job GPT&#8221; alongside LazyApply&#8217;s Chrome extension or annual plans is describing LazyApply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What JobGPT actually does<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You upload a resume and set your preferences. JobGPT finds matching roles, prepares and submits each application, and follows up with people at the company. Messages go out from your address, not a shared JobGPT domain.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Credits never expire, pay-as-you-go available, 5 free applies.<\/strong> Unused credits stay in your account, and you can test the product before paying.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Covers the US, Canada, UK and 150+ countries, with the strongest inventory in the US.<\/strong> If you are searching outside North America and the UK, expect fewer matches per day.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Other features<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hand-pick mode:<\/strong> optional. The full feed has 35 at the time of writing, including HubSpot, MongoDB, Elastic, Box, Webflow and Klaviyo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For opinions we do not control, see the Trustpilot reviews: one reviewer reported 41 applications and 5 interviews inside a week; another reported about 12 recruiter calls from 100 applications in a day. Trustpilot shows 88% five-star, 6% four-star and 6% one-star. Sixteen reviews is a small sample, so read the individual reviews rather than the score alone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Positive reviews<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A June 2026 reviewer wrote that within a month the resume optimizer helped them get past ATS filters and that they were getting multiple interview invitations a week. They also said it still takes effort on the user&#8217;s side.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A junior cybersecurity job seeker reported their first screening call after 27 applications over two weeks (February 2026).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An August 2026 reviewer said results were slow at first and improved once their resume was stronger.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Critical reviews and known complaints<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Account deletion:<\/strong> a one-star review from August 2026 says the user could not find a way to delete their account and got no job matches. 6figr replied publicly that no applications had been triggered on the account and that the delete option is in profile settings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Coverage gaps:<\/strong> a November 2025 reviewer who got three calls also noted that JobGPT could not apply at some large tech employers and called the product still in development.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mismatched applications:<\/strong> some users have reported applications going to roles that did not fit their background, usually when preferences were broad. Narrowing titles and locations, or using hand-pick mode, reduces this.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Form errors:<\/strong> some users have reported applications failing on unusual ATS forms. This is common across every auto-apply tool, since employer forms change often.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Slow support:<\/strong> some users have reported waiting longer than they expected for support replies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">None of these complaints describe charges without service or a product that does not exist, which is what a scam looks like. They describe a working tool with real limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Is JobGPT a scam?
